1 dead, 1 injured in late-night Hwy 290 rollover crash
AUSTIN, TX – One person was killed, and another was severely injured in a rollover accident on Highway 290 late last night, according to the Austin-Travis County EMS.

The accident happened in the 8100 block of W. US-290 at 11:32 p.m., when a vehicle crashed and rolled over onto its roof, pinning two people within the wreckage, according to initial reports.
Two people were declared trauma alerts after being rescued by emergency crews.
One person died at the scene.
Another person was taken to the hospital with severe, life-threatening wounds.
Authorities warned of continued road closures in the area, and advised drivers to avoid the scene.
