1 hospitalized following crash on Capital of Texas Highway
AUSTIN, TX – According to tweets from the Austin-Travis County EMS, one person has been hospitalized after being pinned in their vehicle during a crash on the Capital of Texas Highway near Westlake Drive.
FINAL vehicle rescue 3700-4017 N CAPITAL OF TEXAS HWY NB: After pinnin & just over 1hr extrication, 1 adult patient has been transported to St. David’s South with serious injuries. EMS no longer on scene. No further information is available.

The accident took place at around 3 a.m. today. One individual became pinned in the wreckage following the single-vehicle crash. First responders took roughly an hour to extricate the victim.
