1 person dead, another 2 injured in crash on State Hwy 71 in Bee Cave
BEE CAVE, TX – One person was killed and another two victims were injured in a car accident on State Highway 71 in the Bee Cave area last night, according to Austin-Travis County EMS.

The collision happened in the 16700 block of W SH-71 at 8:22 p.m.
At least one person was pinned within the wreckage for a short time. After being extricated from the crash, they were declared a trauma alert.
One person was declared dead at the scene.
A second victim was taken to South Austin Medical Center with critical, life-threatening wounds.
The third victim was taken to Dell Seton for the treatment of severe, possibly life-threatening injuries.
Drivers were told to expect heavy traffic delays near the scene and were asked to slow down for investigators in the area.
