18-wheeler overturned on San Antonio highway
SAN ANTONIO, TX – San Antonio Police closed down all lanes on Interstate 10 after a semi-truck carrying chemicals overturned early Tuesday morning.
According to KSAT, emergency services responded to the accident on I-10 at Graytown Road at about 7:30 a.m. The chemical the truck was carrying was highly flammable and not soluble in water.
San Antonio Police have not made a statement regarding any injuries sustained in relation to the crash. Officials have since reopened the eastbound lanes on I-10. However, the westbound remains closed as of Tuesday afternoon. Motorists are advised to take another route until the wreckage can be cleared from all lanes.
