18-year-old dead after two-vehicle accident
TROY, TX – A two-vehicle accident has left an 18-year-old dead on May 31, according to reports.
The accident happened on Sunday just before 11 p.m. at the intersection of S Central Avenue.
Raiden Garcia, 18, was driving a 2013 Dodge vehicle on Loves Blvd. when he crashed with a 2004 Infiniti SUV driven southbound by Joan Rivera, 22.
Garcia was the only person in his vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Rivera had 4 other passengers in the vehicle; one adult female and three children. The adult female and two of the children were rushed to the hospital to treat non-life threatening injuries.
The accident remains under investigation.
