23-year-old victim of June 21 crash ID’ed
AUSTIN, TX – Authorities have released the identity of a man who was killed in a June 21 car crash on Jamestown Drive, according to a report by KXAN.
This is an update to a previous story.
The victim is 23-year-old Marcos Calderon, who died Sunday while riding as a passenger inside a green 2002 Chevrolet.
He was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, near the intersection of Jamestown Drive and the Research Boulevard service road, in the 8100 block of Jamestown Drive.
The Chevrolet collided with a silver 1998 Honda after the Honda crossed into the middle lane and into the other vehicle’s path. After the collision, the Chevrolet then hit a bridge support, killing Calderon and injuring three others in the vehicle. The three were sent to the hospital with non-critical injuries.
