6-year-old boy hurt in T-bone collision on Riata Vista Circle in Millwood

AUSTIN, TX – A 6-year-old child was reported as injured following a two-vehicle collision in the Millwood area on Wednesday morning, according to the Texas Department of Transportation.

The crash happened at 12999 Riata Vista Cir at 9:14 a.m., when the 42-year-old driver of a silver 2015 Acura failed to yield the right of way at an intersection. The front of her vehicle collided with the left side of a black 2016 Nissan being driven by a 38-year-old man.

A passenger in the front seat of the Nissan, a 6-year-old boy, sustained possible injuries in the accident. He was restrained in his car seat at the time of the crash.

Neither driver was injured.
