Accident blocks South Austin roadway

AUSTIN, TX – Authorities with the Austin Police Department have blocked off at least one lane following a collision in South Austin late Friday night.

The crash occurred in the westbound lanes of Riverside Drive near the Interstate 35 off-ramp and Edgecliff Terrace shortly after 9:52 p.m., according to the Austin – Travis County traffic report page. 

No injuries have been reported as a result of the crash. However, this story is still developing and we will provide any pertinent information as it is released by South Austin police.

Details regarding the circumstances leading up to the crash are still under investigation.
