At least one person injured in crash in Garrison Park area

AUSTIN, TX – At least one person was injured this afternoon in a car accident in the Garrison Park area in southwest Austin, according to a tweet by the Austin Fire Department’s incident blotter.

The accident happened near the intersection of Menchaca Road and Berkeley Avenue just before 12:30 p.m.

At least one person was hurt in what the tweet described as a Priority 2 incident, which typically involves a serious injury.
