Bicyclist killed after being struck by a vehicle in North Austin

AUSTIN, TX – A bicyclist was killed after being struck by a vehicle at a North Austin intersection late Wednesday night.

The incident occurred within the intersection of the State Highway 183 frontage road and Lake Creek Parkway just before 10:30 p.m., according to CBS Austin.

Officials with Austin-Travis County EMS found the bicyclist dead upon thier arrival. The motorist involved remained at the scene to render assistance and is cooperating with investigators.
