Boat overturns in the Colorado River east of Austin

TRAVIS COUNTY, TX – Officials in Travis County responded to the call of an overturned boat in the Colorado River west of Austin Friday evening.

According to Austin- Travis County EMS Twitter Page, the accident occurred at about 5:53 p.m. Friday near the Volente Beach Resort and Waterpark

The three occupants on flipped watercraft were assisted by witnesses on another passing boat. No injures were sustained as a result of the incident and officials were called off the scene before their arrival.
