California man injured in multi-vehicle crash on Capital of Texas Hwy
AUSTIN, TX – A man was injured in a multi-vehicle collision on the Capital of Texas Highway on Tuesday afternoon, according to information from the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).
The crash happened on the S Capital of Texas Hwy (360 Loop), west of the Mopac Expressway, at 4:17 p.m., when the 16-year-old driver of a black 2010 Toyota rear-ended a white 2013 Toyota. The impact sent the white Toyota into the back of a gray 2015 Mercedes-Benz being driven by a 43-year-old woman.
The driver of the white Toyota, a 52-year-old man from California, sustained minor injuries in the crash.
The other two drivers were not hurt.
