Child in critical condition after truck crashes into residence
KERRVILLE, TX – An eight-year-old child has been hospitalized after a pickup truck careened into her bedroom in a late-night drunk driving crash in Kerrville.
According to KVUE, 23-year-old Kerrville firefighter Isaac Barboza lost control of his Ford F-150 truck just before it collided into the home, located in the 500 block of Leland Street, shortly before 11 p.m.
The child was transported to a San Antonio hospital via helicopter to be treated for critical injuries. Barboza was arrested and has been charged with intoxication assault with a vehicle causing serious bodily injuries.
