City employee killed after falling into wastewater tank
HOUSTON, TX – KHOU reports a city of Houston employee died after falling into a wastewater tank on Tuesday morning.
The incident occurred at the 69th St Wastewater Treatment Plant at approximately 8:30 a.m.
Authorities and EMS personnel rushed to scene on 2525 SSgt. Macario Garcia Drive and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
According to Houston police, the victim was cleaning the tank when he fell in and witnesses called for help.
The victims identity and cause of death has not been released.
