Collision causes delays in Northeast Austin
AUSTIN, TX – Emergency services in Northeast Austin were forced to shut down a portion of U.S. 290 following a collision Thursday night.
According to the Austin-Travis County traffic report page, the accident occurred within the westbound lanes of U.S. 290 near Johnny Morris Road shortly after 8:00 a.m.
No injuries have been reported as a direct result of the crash. However, authorities have advised motorists to avoid the area as delays are likely throughout Thursday night.
