Collision causes rush-hour delays in South Austin intersection

AUSTIN, TX – Officials in South Austin are reporting major delays resulting from a rush-hour accident off of US 290 Monday evening.

The collision occurred within the intersection of East Ben White Boulevard and Woodward Street at about 2:12 p.m., according to the Austin-Travis County traffic report page.

No word on if any injuries were sustained as a result of the crash has been released as of Thursday evening. However, officials recommend motorists avoid the area throughout the evening as delays are likely near this busy intersection.
