Crash closes road in downtown Austin
AUSTIN, TX – Officials with the Austin Police Department were forced to shut down a portion of a busy downtown street following a collision late Thursday evening.
According to the Austin-Travis County traffic report page, the incident occurred shortly before 9:00 p.m. within the 1600 block of East 4th Street near Concho Street.
No injuries have been reported as a result of the collision as of yet. However, this situation is still developing.
Officials are urging motorists to find an alternate route around this portion of E 4th St. as delays are likely throughout Thursday night.
