Driver And Passenger In Fatal Rollover Crash Identified
The people involved in a solo vehicle crash have been identified, according to a March 10 article by San Angelo Live.
The driver was 21-year-old Ulices Carranza-Carranza and the passenger was 22-year-old Joe Pena Marquez. Carranza failed to control his speed while driving on Loop 250 around 4:46 PM. This caused the vehicle to roll over and Marquez to die at the scene. As a result, Carranza was sent to the hospital, released, and then charged and jailed at the Midland County Jail.
The incident occurred in East Ben White Boulevard near South Congress Avenue around 2:20 PM Tuesday. One of the victims was sent to Dell Seton Medical Center while the other was taken to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center.
