Driver Arrested After Crashing Into Cyclist
A drunk driver was arrested after crashing into a cyclist, according to a February 18 article by Fox 7 Austin.
The incident occurred at the intersection of Sheraton Avenue and South Congress Avenue, around 11:00 PM on February 16. An officer found a 29-year-old cyclist lying on the side of the road with a serious injury. The cyclist was taken to the hospital with a broken femur. Later, they charged 38-year-old Travis Ashley with intoxication assault, a third-degree felony.
