Driver arrested following police chase and crash in San Marcos

SAN MARCOS, TX – According to KXAN, a driver has been arrested following a police chase and crash in San Marcos.

This incident took place on Tuesday when police pulled over a speeding vehicle. The car stopped but drove off, allegedly aiming towards a police officer.

The 17-year-old suspect crashed into another vehicle at the intersection of Robbie Lane and Thorpe Lane. The suspect and the other driver were both hospitalized.

The suspect has been arrested and charged with evading and aggravated assault. The incident is still under investigation. This story will be updated if new details emerge.
