Driver Dead After Crashing Car Into Bridge Pillar
A man died after his car crashed into a bridge’s pillar, according to a January 17 article by Statesman.
Due to numerous reports, officers were called around 6:30 AM to the northbound ramp of Texas 130, under the Texas 71 East overpass. According to a passerby, a vehicle veered off the roadway and collided into the bridge’s pillars. Austin-Travis County EMS medics also responded to the crash. Unfortunately, the person inside the vehicle was dead when the officer’s arrived. Further investigations are ongoing.
