Driver Hospitalized After Crashing Into Building
A driver was taken to the hospital after crashing his pickup truck into a building, according to a March 6 article by The Lufkin Daily News.
The incident occurred at the 500 block of South First Street, around 1:25 PM Friday. The man was driving a Dodge pickup truck when it went off the road, sped through a parking lot, then crashed into a building and finally stopping. Officers found K2 or marijuana in the pickup, so the driver was taken to the hospital in handcuffs. Both lanes were closed off as crews worked at the scene, and they were reopened by 1:45 PM.
