Driver Of Crash That Injured Three Child Passengers Was Intoxicated

The suspect who injured three children in a car crash admitted to being intoxicated during the incident, according to a February 12 article by KWTX.

The incident happened on January 25 in Killeen, when a 10-year-old and two 3-year-old twins were injured. In her affidavit, 33-year-old Shaunda Jenae Walker admitted to have drunken four to five vodka drinks as she was driving home at the time of the crash. The kids were her passengers during the crash. Unfortunately, doctors had to remove glass from the 10-year-old’s face. Worse, she had glass shards in her orbital socket and a broken arm due to the crash.

Currently, Walker remains in jail in lieu of bonds totaling $140,000.
