Elderly victim identified in fatal pedestrian crash
AUSTIN, TX – Police in North Austin have identified the elderly man who was killed in an auto vs pedestrian collision on Friday, July 17th.
According to police, Ronnie Dawson Lindsey, 72, was struck while attempting to cross the street within the 800 block of East Rundberg Lane shortly before 9:45 a.m. Lindsey was taken to Dell Seton Medical Center where he died several days later, on July 24th.
No word on whether any charges will be filed against the driver has been released as of yet.
