Elderly woman fatally collides with trees on Briley St

HOUSTON, TX – According to Click 2 Houston, an elderly woman died after she crashed into trees at 2200 Briley St on Sunday.

A 74-year-old woman was driving a brown Nissan Murano north on Briley St when she strayed off the road, went over a ditch, and slammed into a group of trees around 6:55 a.m.

First responders transported the woman to an area hospital, where she died.

The Houston Police Department is investigating the incident.
