Explosion occurs as a result of a San Antonio house fire
SAN ANTONIO, TX – Fire officials in San Antonio put out a blaze in a residential home that resulted in a small explosion early Wednesday morning.
According to KSAT, officials responded to the fire within the 6000 block of Beaver Trail, northwest of downtown, shortly before 4:30 a.m..
The blaze began in an attic on the top floor of the home and spread to an HVAC unit causing a small explosion. No one was injured as a result of the fire. Officials believe the home is still inhabitable.
Arson is not suspected at this time.
