FedEx truck involved in Mopac Expressway fire accident
AUSTIN, TX – Austin-Travis County fire officials rushed to put out a vehicle fire involving a FedEx truck on the Mopac Expressway Tuesday afternoon.
The fire was spotted in the 10000 block of the Mopac Expwy. shortly after 2:25 p.m., not far from the 45th Street overpass, according to KXAN.
Firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze and the driver escaped without sustaining any injuries as a result. Details regarding what may have caused the truck to burst into flames are still under investigation.
