Female employee dead after business catches on fire
MIDLAND, TX – A female employee has died following a fire at a Wag N’ Tail Pet Resort on Saturday afternoon, according to reports.
The Midland Fire Department responded to the scene at approximately 5:53 p.m.
After extinguishing the fire, crews found a deceased female. The woman was identified, but her name will not be released at this time.
The owners of the pets that were left in the resort were notified. Four of the animals were transported to a local pet hospital to be treated.
The cause of the fire is unknown and there is an on-going investigation.
