Female motorcyclist dies following crash on Barker Cypress Road
HOUSTON, TX – According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, a female motorcyclist died following a single-vehicle collision on the 12900 block of Barker Cypress Road Wednesday night.
The victim was riding a gray Kawasaki motorcycle north on Barker Cypress Road when she hit the curb around 10:25 p.m. The female was thrown from the motorcycle and landed in the median.
The motorcyclist was wearing a helmet but was not using the helmet strap. The helmet became dislodged from the victim before she hit the ground.
First responders transported the victim to an area hospital, where she died.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office Vehicular Crimes Division is investigating the incident.
