Female struck by vehicle in Cypress Tuesday night

CYPRESS, TX – An 18-year-old woman was struck by a vehicle in Cypress on Tuesday night, according to Houston Chronicle.

The accident happened at the intersection of Mound Road and Crossland Park Lane at approximately 9:22 p.m.

Police say the female exited her vehicle to examine something she saw on the road when she was struck by a 72-year-old driver at the intersection.

The victim suffered severe head injuries and was flown by LifeFlight to Memorial Hermann Downtown. She was in critical but stable condition.
