Four people injured in Bouldin Creek pin-in collision early Saturday morning

AUSTIN, TX – Four people were injured, one critically, in an accident that took place in the Bouldin Creek neighborhood of south Austin early this morning.

According to a tweet posted by the Austin-Travis County EMS, the accident happened at the intersection of S 1st and W Mary St at 3:07 a.m. when two vehicles collided, pinning two people within the wreckage.

Four people, none of whom were publicly identified in the tweet thread, were declared trauma alerts by EMS staff. One of those victims was taken to Dell Seton with critical, life-threatening wounds. The three remaining victims were taken to local hospitals with wounds described as possibly serious, but not life-threatening.

ATCEMS advised travelers in the area to avoid the scene, as traffic delays and road closures were likely.
