Freeway accident reported near Oak Hill

AUSTIN, TX – Travis County officials have responded to an accident along US Highway 290 during rush hour Monday evening.

According to the Austin-Travis County Traffic report page, the accident occurred at about 4:50 p.m. along US 290 near the Convict Hill Road exit. No injuries have been reported as a result of the crash. However, this story is still developing.

Lane closures along this portion of US 290 westbound are likely to cause delays throughout Monday evening. Motorists are advised to find an alternate route or proceed with extreme caution on the freeway.
