Injuries reported in North Austin rush-hour collision

AUSTIN, TX – Officials in North Austin have reported injuries resulting from a rush-hour crash Thursday evening.

According to the Austin-Travis County traffic report page, the incident occurred on Three Points Road near the I-35 on-ramp just before 5:40 p.m.

Details regarding the cause of the crash or the extent of injuries sustained as a result have not yet been released. However, the intersection was shut down for some time while the crash was investigated and cleared from the roadway causing significant delays for rush-hour commuters.
