Late night crash closes I-35 service road

AUSTIN, TX – Police in North Austin were forced to close an Interstate 35 frontage road following a crash Wednesday night.

According to the Austin-Travis County traffic report page, the accident happened at about 10:10 p.m. at the intersection of East Rundberg Lane and I-35 southbound. Police closed off the intersection as well as a portion of the I-35 frontage road advising drivers to avoid the area throughout Wednesday night into early Thursday morning.

No word on if any injuries were sustained as a result of the crash has been released as of yet. However, the situation is still developing and we will provide any further information as is is made available by Austin Police.
