Life threatening injuries, other injuries reported in southbound I-35 crash
AUSTIN, TX- Multiple were injured, including one person with critical, life threatening injuries, in a crash in the southbound lanes of I-35 on Monday morning, according to KVUE.
A three vehicle collision occurred at approximately 5:00am Monday that injured three total. Two of the people reported to be injured had minor injuries, while one person, unconscious, had to be extricated from the vehicle with critical injuries and transported to Dell Seton Medical Center. The 6200 N area of southbound I-35, in between US 183 and US 290, was closed around the time of the accident. Traffic delays and detours in the area were reported.
The cause of the accident is unknown at this time. We will be monitoring for updates.
