Man allegedly runs over ex-wife in hit-and-run in SW San Antonio
SAN ANTONIO, TX – A woman died early Saturday morning in southwest San Antonio after her ex-husband allegedly ran her over with his vehicle, according to KENS 5.
The accident happened at about 2:30 a.m. when the victim, who was not publicly identified, was struck by a black pickup truck while she had been walking along the street. The driver of the truck allegedly then fled the scene.
The victim’s husband, 30-year-old David Estrada was at the scene when officers arrived to find the victim unresponsive. They later came to suspect that he was the driver who had struck and killed her.
He is facing charges of murder in connection with the victim’s death.
