Man Charged After Rear-Ending Police Cruiser
A police officer sustained minor injuries after his cruiser was hit by a car, according to a February 12 article by Fox 7 Austin.
The collision happened at the intersection of North Lamar Boulevard and West Rundberg Lane on February 9, around 2:16 PM. 25-year-old Tomas Avila Montes rear-ended a police cruiser because he failed to stop for a stop light in time. Due to the incident, Montes was charged with third-degree failure to stop and render aid. Also, an officer got a back injury as a result.
