Man Died After DUI Collision, Suspect Arrested
A man died after a DUI collision, according to a February 25 article by Fox 7 Austin.
The incident happened in the 7800 block of FM 969, in the morning of February 22. 36-year-old Calvin Charles Bench was driving a 2005 red Honda Accord when the 2020 silver Chevrolet Equinox of 28-year-old Anthony Michael DeLeon struck his driver’s side. As a result, Bench was pronounced dead at the scene. Then, DeLeon was arrested for DWI. This crash marks the 20th fatal road accident in Austin.
