Man Injured After Jumping Out Of Drunk Driver’s Car
A man was grievously injured after jumping out of a drunk driver’s car, according to a January 18 article by News West 9.
The incident happened on January 18, at the 4500 block of Comanche.
There, Jennifer Gillett was driving drunk, taking Matthew Martinez home. Then, Martinez jumped out of the vehicle. At 3:25 AM, Midland responded to the scene. They found Martinez barely breathing. In response, he was transported to Midland Memorial Hospital to get treatment. Meanwhile, Gillett was arrested for DUI. Further investigations are ongoing.
