Man injured during speed-related rear-end crash on I-35
AUSTIN, TX – A man was injured during a speed-related rear-end crash on I-35 earlier this week, according to the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).
The collision occurred on I-35, north of E 52nd Street, at 4:28 p.m. Tuesday, after the 41-year-old driver of a purple 2017 Jeep failed to control the speed of his vehicle. The front of his vehicle collided with the back of a white 2005 Dodge.
The driver of the Jeep suffered minor injuries in the crash.
The other driver, a 49-year-old man, was not hurt in the accident.
