Man killed after crashing with 18-wheeler
HOUSTON, TX – A man died after colliding with a stalled 18-wheeler on Houston’s Southwest Freeway on Monday afternoon, according to My Texas Daily.
Authorities say that the driver of a disabled red tractor trailer came to a complete stop on the left shoulder in the 11100 block of the freeway at approximately 12:30 p.m.
The driver placed multiple warning signals along the yellow solid line for drivers to see.
A 58-year-old driver driving a silver Lexus failed to maintain single lane and struck the rear of the parked 18-wheeler.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene while the driver of the 18-wheeler was uninjured.
