Motorcyclist airlifted to hospital following collision
KILLEEN, TX – A motorcyclist was airlifted to Baylor Scott and White Medical Center after a collision with a gray Ford Focus on Sunday evening, according to KCEN TV.
The male victim, who is not yet identified, was riding a black motorcycle and traveling southbound when the crash occurred at the intersection of Fort Hood Street and Elms Road just after 6 p.m.
According to reports, the Ford Focus was headed northbound in the center turning lane when the driver failed to yield right of way and turned left in from the motorcycle. The Focus reportedly had its turn signal on.
The motorcyclist was airlifted to the hospital shortly after the collision and is in critical but stable condition.
The incident is still under investigation.
