Multi-vehicle crash closes lanes on I-35
AUSTIN, TX – Officials in South Austin were forced to shut down the northbound lanes on Interstate 35 early Thursday morning.
According to KXAN, the crash occurred at about 6:15 a.m. along I-35 near the Stassney Lane overpass. No injuries have been reported as a result of the collision as of Thursday evening. However, this situation is still developing and we will provide those details as they are released.
All northbound lanes on this portion of i-35 were closed for over an hour while the crash was cleared from the roadway. All lanes reopened shortly before 8:00 a.m.
