North Austin accident shuts down lane on Lamar Boulevard

AUSTIN, TX – Authorities in North Austin responded to an accident that forced them to shut down a portion of North Lamar Boulevard Monday afternoon.

According to the Austin-Travis County traffic report page, the accident occurred just after 1:00 p.m. at 10010 North Lamar Blvd near the Ken Street intersection. Motorists were directed to a detour by Police while the crash was investigated and removed from the roadway.

No word on how many vehicles were involved or if any injuries were sustained as a result of the crash has been released yet. We will continue to monitor this situation and provide any further details as they become available.
