North Austin police identify pedestrian killed along I-35
AUSTIN, TX – Law Enforcement officials in North Austin released the identity of the man killed while attempting to cross Interstate 35 near Braker Lane on Friday, July 10th.
According to the Austin American Statesman, the victim was 23-year-old Roberto Luna Pantoja. EMS attempted to save Pantoja but were unable to.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with officials. Charges are not expected to be filed against that individual at this time.
