Officials identify victims killed in I-35 overpass accident
AUSTIN, TX- The two individuals killed after falling off an overpass near the northbound I-35 earlier this month have been identified, according to KXAN Austin.
At approximately 4:21am on July 10, 38-year-old Charlie Jackson and 20-year-old David Bearden were in a Toyota Camry that lost control near the 5200 block of the northbound I-25 frontage road, causing it to go off-road off a bridge. The two individuals were ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene shortly after.
Other individuals were involved in the accident but did not experience life-threatening injuries. We will be monitoring for more updates.
