One critically injured after jumping from cliff at Lake Travis
SPICEWOOD, TX (TRAVIS COUNTY) – One person was critically injured after jumping from a cliff and into Lake Travis on Thursday, according to the official Twitter account of the Austin-Travis County EMS.
The accident happened around 7 p.m. Thursday, in the 4500 block of Grisham Trail, when an unidentified adult did not surface after jumping into the water.
Emergency crews performed CPR for over 35 minutes on the victim before rushing them to the hospital via airlift for the treatment of critical, life-threatening injuries.
