One dead after fire consumes vehicle near Austin-Bergstrom Airport
AUSTIN, TX – One person was killed in a fire that completely consumed a car near Austin-Bergstrom Airport late last night, according to a tweet by the Austin-Travis County EMS.

The accident happened at the intersection of Burleson Rd and S US-183, west of the airport, just after 10 p.m.
Austin Police and Fire officials discovered one person dead at the scene, where a vehicle was discovered completely engulfed in a car fire.
The identity of the victim has not yet been released.
Authorities warned travelers in the area of heavy traffic delays and road closures as investigators worked on the case.
