One dead, another in critical condition after early-morning crash on I-35
AUSTIN, TX – One person was killed and another was seriously injured following an accident on I-35 early this morning, according to the Austin-Travis County EMS.

The collision occurred in the 8900 block of the N I-35 service road at about 12:35 a.m.
One adult died at the scene.
A second adult was taken to Dell Seton for the treatment of severe, life-threatening wounds.
The exact circumstances of the crash and the identities of the victims were not made immediately available.
ATCEMS advised travelers to avoid the area, as traffic delays and road closures were likely.
