One dead following crash in North Austin
AUSTIN, TX – Officials are reporting one fatality as the result of a crash near Interstate 35, north of downtown Austin.
According to the Austin-Travis County EMS Twitter page, the collision occurred just before 7:30 p.m. Monday evening along the 500 block of East Grady Drive. One adult victim was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
Details regarding what may have caused the accident or the identity of the victim have not been released. This situation is ongoing and we will provide that information as it is made available by police in North Austin.
